Community Publications is looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Ad Designer for its series of local directories.
As Ad Designer you will be responsible for the creation and insertion of adverts for local businesses, ensuring our high standards in both design and accuracy are maintained, as well as having a creative spark for when special projects arise. The role is perfect for candidates who can accurately deliver on-brief ad copy, cope well with deadlines and pressure, and display strong organisation and communication skills.

The successful applicant will need:
• An eye for detail and the ability to create quality adverts to brief for a variety of local trades.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite 6 (InDesign a focus) is essential, skills in creating online advertising would be an advantage.
• To be capable of hitting deadlines and handling the high-pressure situations found in a publishing environment.
• Excellent communication skills – able to liaise across a number of departments.
• The ability to think outside the box and demonstrate creativity when called upon.
